About Us

Our Logo

Our logo comprises leaves of the kalo (taro) plant. Lau denotes leaves; ola refers to life, wellbeing; pono indicates goodness. While kalo is a nutritious staple food for Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians), it also connects them to `ohana, `āina, and kilo`uhane (family, land, and spiritualism) to create lōkahi (harmony, balance) for an optimal sense of wellness.

Who We Are

Lauola Pono Foundation aims to collaborate with key stakeholders to strengthen the
health and vitality of our Native Hawaiian Community. We envision a thriving kaiāulu (community)
where health equity is fully realized because we believe health care is a human right. We set our
giveback goals through our annual Community Impact Plan and join forces with partners to achieve
those goals.

To this end, Lauola Pono Services is our first for-profit in the government contracting sector.
Through Lauola Pono Services, we bring our dedication and commitment to providing exceptional
services and solutions for our federal customers. We are proud of our Hawaiian heritage and values,
and the influence they have on our team. Our primary motivation is to effect positive change for our
clients through the services we provide, and the Native Hawaiian community through our giveback
initiatives.
